My first blog entry was an intro to an intro. So, here is my actual intro of why I’m blogging and what I hope to accomplish. I should start by explaining my blog name, Left Coast Lender. There is no political bias with the name at all. As we all know, you do not mix religion or politics with business. Forget everything you learned in grad school and realize that everything you need to know, you learned in kindergarten. If you look at a map of the United States you will notice that west is to the left. There you go, instead of West Coast, Left Coast, it’s that simple. Thanks for playing.

Since we have the formality out of the way, let’s get down to the nitty gritty. It doesn’t matter if you are a first time home buyer, an experienced investor, or a seasoned home owner ready to refinance, everybody finds the mortgage process to be a daunting task. Just trying to navigate all the negative press can make anybody think they are on the brink of financial ruin. Being an educated and well informed borrower can make a huge difference in your mortgage transaction.

In the entries to come, I hope to bring an insider’s perspective of the mortgage industry and provide an educational forum on how to make the biggest piece of your financial puzzle work for you.

If you have any questions or comments feel free to ask. I would be glad to share with you, my Left Coast View!
